2007 Syrah - Santa Lucia Highlands
WINE:
This is an Old World-style Syrah with a variety of secondary aromas and flavors.
WINEMAKING:
The fruit used in making this wine comes from a vineyard located near Gonzales in the Santa Lucia Highlands. The cool weather – driven by Monterey Bay’s influence – provides the foundation for the complex nature of this distinctive wine.
FOOD:
This full-bodied wine will compliment lamb shish kabobs with bell pepper, grass-fed cheddar bacon cheeseburgers, and beef and pepper stew.
